The last week stands without precedent in American history. A failed presidential candidate assassination, a fresh-faced vice-presidential nominee, a spectacular, first-rate convention, a sitting president dropping out of the race only weeks before his party’s nominating convention.

These one-off episodes in American politics reflect the state of the nation. Our nation has never been this vulnerable, at least not in the ways it is at this moment.

The Republican Party is unified behind President Trump while the Democrats seem to be coalescing around Vice President Harris. Harris is deeply unpopular.

President Trump has the chance to grow the Republican lead in the House and give him a real opportunity to Make America Great Again.

The road to success in the House runs right through California. With its 52 congressional districts, California has the best chances for Republican pickups. And there are some seats won in squeakers in 2022 that must be defended.

This week I would like to point to two races with two superb Republican candidates: Mayor Kevin Lincoln for CA CD-9 and former Assemblyman Scott Baugh for CA CD-47.

Lincoln is the mayor of Stockton, CA, the district’s largest city. He won the mayor’s race handily in 2020 by, you guessed, defeating an incumbent Democrat.

Baugh nearly upset Rep. Katie Porter in 2022. Porter vacated the seat in order to run for U.S. Senate, and now the open seat is down to Baugh and a Democrat opponent who was arrested for DUI just last year.

Things look good for the candidates, but they will need help. The Freedom and Prosperity PAC endorses Kevin Lincoln and Scott Baugh and will contribute to their campaigns with your help.

President Trump must be bold in his one remaining term. Please help us give him an overwhelming majority in the House so that he can pursue the America First, pro-liberty agenda.

We have 105 days left until election day. Let’s do everything we can to secure a victory now and the chance to save America.
